Charity auction in support of Childrens Hospice
On September 20, a charity auction was held in support of Children's Hospice at the Hotel "Rooms" yard, organized by Open Society Georgia Foundation. As a result of the auction, a total of 30,950 $ and 13 000 GEL (500 GEL per lot will be added from the reserve fund of the President of Georgia) has been collected.
The auction was attended by the Hospice's Friends, representatives of the Business and Diplomatic Corps.
Regarding the Hospice's project, the Memorandum of Cooperation was signed in June 2015. Construction began in February 2016. Together with the foundation "Open Society-Georgia" the first supporting organizations were the medical corporation "Evex", who handed the land in the village of Dighomi to the Hospice, and the President of Georgia, who allocated 100 000 GEL to start the construction.
