On August 1, Armenian colleagues visited Children's Hospice "Firefly World". Aim of the visit was to take three-day training course in palliative care. The training course covered the issues like palliative care, pain and other symptoms management, acquiring hospice and home care service skills, hospice specificity, availability of opioids in Georgia. During three-day training course theoretical sessions were provided for guests, they were given the possibility to be involved in hospice and home care processes as well. Within the frameworks of training course they visited Transfiguration Nunnery Mercy Center and Homecare Service and National Center of Oncology.
